CBT Clinics are located throughout the UK![]() |
It’s not always easy to find the right help when you need it.
A good starting point is to talk to your General Practitioner about your problems. Your General Practitioner may know of psychotherapists working within the National Health Service, who are trained to use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). However, you may have found that there is a high demand for NHS services and therefore long waiting times for an appointment.
You may be considering choosing a private therapist, but are unsure how to find the right therapist for you. Our Psychological Treatment Co-ordinators can help you find a CBT Psychotherapist with the right experience for you in your area. We have carefully selected experienced CBT Psychotherapists throughout the UK, who have the clinical skills to help you and who are also compassionate in their approach to helping people. Our therapists are professionals, such as Clinical Psychologists, Psychiatrists and Clinical Nurse Specialists, many of whom hold senior positions within the NHS. All our therapists are trained to provide treatment in accordance with National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines.
It is important that you are referred to a therapist who has been properly trained in the use of cognitive behavioural psychotherapy. We also understand the need to work together with your General Practitioner if you request us to.
Our Psychological Treatment Co-ordinators are immediately available to support you.
Studies have shown that Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is the most effective psychological therapy available for a wide range of common problems including;
Depression, Stress, Anxiety, Panic, PTSD, Eating Disorders, OCD, Self Esteem, Relationships Difficulties, Insomnia and Chronic Pain.
CBT focuses upon how our thinking and behavior influences the way we feel. The therapist and client work together to identify problems and reach personal goals. The client learns skills in therapy to maintain improvement after therapy is completed. This improvement aims to increase psychological resilience in the future.
